Watches are a simple and small clock usually worn on the wrist in order for you to tell the time. Well, of course this is how it began. Nowadays watches are a symbol of power, the more expensive the watcher adorned the wrist, the more status you possess. Has this image really gotten ridiculous? Of course it is great to have a nice watch, a keepsake that means something sentimental to be won as jewellery, but these classic watches of course allow for the prime purpose of actually telling the time to be carried out. The bulky and completely sparkly watches cannot simply have this purpose. Is this a reflection of our current society, are we more impressed by the price tag and are we neglecting the practicality of an item? It really seems this way. We see a parade of celebrities smothered in expensive jewels especially watches, but it really doesn’t signify anything other than; well, you have an expensive watch and I don’t. Now of course the advancement of technology is vas
